Hall & Ogle designed Fire Station No. 50 for dual occupancy by the City of New Smyrna Beach and the County of Volusia. This 11,000 square foot station, completed in 2014, has eight dormitories laid out in a “split” configuration, administrative offices, kitchen/dining area, and other ancillary spaces. The apparatus bay is approximately 4200 SF with three drive through truck bays as well as a standalone accessory building for additional apparatus and storage. Construction cost for this project was $3,000,000.
