South Daytona City Hall Complex
The South Daytona City Hall Complex presented many difficult design challenges. The design concept linked new City Hall structures with an existing Police Department structure to provide a highly functional solution for the activities of the various municipal departments.
Pitched tile roofs, insulated exterior stucco finishes and terra cotta precast concrete panels accented with teal blue window and door frame units are used to unify the exterior appearance of the new and existing structures.
A portico visually links all components of the complex, and an entry court/ fountain area embraced by a radiused colonnade announces the highly visible public entry to the complex.
