Museum of Arts and Sciences - Root Gallery
Built to house the extensive collections of Chapman Root, ranging from Coca-Cola memorabilia, to teddy bears, race cars, and even an historic drugstore from downtown Philadelphia, this approx. 22,000 s.f. addition to the Museum of Arts & Sciences was a tremendous success from the day it opened to the public.
The building also includes an exterior covered and secured train car display, built to replicate an historic train platform, right down to the antique benches salvaged from the original Daytona Beach train depot.
