John Hall, Principal

John Hall is a current Principal at HO Architects. Before joining the firm in 1989 as a Project Manager, Mr. Hall was in private practice in Gainesville, Florida where he primarily completed residential and light commercial projects. Since that time, Mr. Hall has been responsible for a diverse and wide ranging series of educational projects for the firm including elementary and middle schools, along with higher education collegiate projects.

His public work includes additions to the Daytona Beach City Hall and Engineering Department Records Center, police substations, fire stations, and fire station additions for the County of Volusia. Private work includes a 900-seat Catholic church, new bank building, and additions to the Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona Beach.

Mr. Hall has also received two housing design awards from the Florida Solar Energy Center.

NSB Central Fire Station
11,000 SF central command fire station for the City of New Smyrna Beach, FL. This project is the first municipal green project for the City and is pursuing LEED Certification.

Horizon Elementary School - Classroom Addition
12,000 SF nine classroom addition. This project was completed in 2012.

Citrus Grove Elementary School
90,000 SF new seven building elementary school. This project was completed in 2010.

Champion Elementary School
90,000 SF new six building elementary school completed in 2009.

Forest Lake Elementary School - Classroom Addition
12,000 SF nine classroom addition. Completed in 2009.

River Springs Middle School
160,400 SF six building campus provides administrative offices, classroom space, media center, music, and food service functions for over 1200 students. Completed in 2008.

David Ogle, Principal

David Ogle is a current Principal at HO Architects. Before joining the firm, Mr. Ogle worked for 18 years with architects in the Orlando, Florida metro area. During the last 12 years, his guidance has played an integral role in the expansion of the firm and its client base. Mr. Ogle believes in a hands on approach and is responsible for every phase of project development from initial client contact through completion of construction administration. His depth of experience includes programming, planning, design, construction documentation, and construction administration on a wide variety of architectural building types that include educational, religious, health care, commercial, and institutional facilities.

Mr. Ogle also has over twenty years of experience in CAD operations and system management and plays an integral role in implementing REVIT Building Information Modeling (BIM).

ERAU Hagedorn Aviation Complex
100,000 SF new one story flight maintenance hanger, two story flight operations center, and three story aircraft maintenance laboratory building. Completed in 2012.

Volusia County/UCF Business Incubator
10,000 SF remodel with in Daytona Beach International Airport that houses office and support areas to be utilized by new "upstart" businesses primarily in the technology fields. Completed in 2011.

ERAU Nextgen Test Bed Facility
14,000 SF remodel for a demonstration area to showcase the future of air traffic control. Located in the Daytona Beach International Airport. Completed in 2011.

ERAU College of Business
54,000+ SF new two story classroom facility which included computer labs, lecture halls, and administration areas. Completed in 2008.

MOAS - New Children's Wing Addition
7,000 SF addition housing numerous "hands-on" interactive displays and a mezzanine for the Museum of Arts and Sciences. Completed in 2008.
