Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Hagedorn Aviation Complex
The Hagedorn Aviation Complex had a construction budget of $15,500,000 and included the design and construction of three new buildings for ERAU - The Flight Operations building, Aviation Maintenance Science building, and the Hangar building. All three usher in a new era for Embry Riddle Aeronautical University's aviation flight and maintenance programs.
The Flight Operations building contains Class A office and conference space, classrooms, teaching labs, atrium gathering space, and a flight control tower. The Aviation Maintenance Sciences building includes contains Class A office and conference space, classrooms, teaching labs, atrium gathering space, and a rooftop deck for assembly gatherings, which overlooks both the shared exterior courtyard and flight line runways.
The innovative use of Reynobond composite aluminum exterior cladding panels led to this project being featured in the manufacturer's 2009 calendar. This project was completed on time and under budget by Hawkins, Hall, and Ogle Architects.
