Museum of Arts and Sciences - Phase 3 & 4 Expansions
The Phase 3 & 4 expansions at the Daytona Beach Museum of Arts and Sciences required creative solutions to existing circulation and site restriction problems.
The design concept developed by Hawkins & Hall created a new centralized lobby area that provided a dynamic new entry for the museum and connected the existing, new and future areas with a much improved circulation plan and increased security.
Phased planning design allowed the new lobby to be constructed first, followed by two new major gallery spaces and collection storage areas. The final phase of construction provided a new Arts and Humanities wing as well as new administration areas.
