Daytona Beach Police Department
The 98,000 SF Police Headquarters for the City of Daytona Beach that was completed in 2008. The state of the art three-story facility houses administrative offices, conference rooms, a community room for special meetings, holding cells, evidence rooms, K-9 training area, a garage unit to process vehicles used in crimes and a crime lab for preliminary DNA testing.
The Police Department also houses Daytona Beach's Emergency Operations Center which serves as the "nerve center" during emergencies. Working space is provided for all disaster response support functions and representatives of the area. Construction cost for this project was $22.6 million.
